LIBRA is a Latin music group that was formed in the summer of 2005 by friends, Michael Pecina and Mark Garcia.  Having always been intrigued by intricate Spanish guitar music and blazing guitar solos, they decided to collaborate and create original songs and melodies for themselves to sing and solo over. In 2008, LIBRA added Brian Canales on bass guitar and Eric Anthony Pecina on percussion.  Each member of the group draws on years of experience having performed in numerous local bands in the Corpus Christi area.  Drawing inspiration from Flamenco, Nuevo Flamenco, Jazz, Tejano and Rock, LIBRA has blended a collage of musical styles to create a unique sound of their own.  Dedicated to the band's creed: Love, Inspire, Believe, Respect and Achieve, LIBRA continues to be driven to create something beautiful simply for the love of music.
